  • A Canmore, Alberta writing group that was started in 2008 by David Eso and James Louden. It operated for a decade and saw the work of hundreds of writers from all genres who lived in Canmore or passed through. Migratory Words was home to some Canmore legends such as Terry Wall and David Owen, both passed on now, and both of whom are published in this volume 5 anthology. Migratroy Words also hosted a plethora of contemporary Canadian giants in literature, including Robert Kroetsch, George Bowering, Aritha van Herk, Weyman Chan, and Steven Ross Smith among others. This anthology is a testament to the deep talent that runs through this community.
